"I'll have to refuse," Sana murmured in a quiet, almost deadened tone. This was the means to an end, after all, and nothing to get excited about. Not that Sana was ever much excited these days. She flicked some residue from her sword before turning her golden gaze onto Zachry.
"You two. Leave before I kill you myself," Sana murmured without looking away from him, but she really didn't care if they got out or not. What were two more human lives? Without checking to see if they heeded her words, Sana lifted her sword and moved towards her enemy in the first attack, since he seemed unwilling to do it himself. Typical.

He watched her as she scolded the other two and told them to leave, though she didn't act as if she really cared. What an odd trait for a wanna be hero. He smirked as she rushed him, acting completly calm and complacent as he shifted his feet.
His grace and speed were unrivaled among the army of the Forgiver, and he moved forward toward Sana, twirling the knives in his hands as he did, tossing the one in his left hand with an underhanded toss, pushing off of the ground and vaulting over her head, landing and spinning so that he faced her as he launched the next one.
"For a hero, you sure are reckless, most would at least pretend they care about the lives they're attempting to save.".

"They are meaningless."
Sana twisted her body to avoid the knife, bringing her sword around as she stopped facing Zachry at the ready again to deflect the next attack.
"The Heartless were yours," she said coldly, "You will tell me the Forgiver's weaknesses."
Dropping, she braced herself on one arm, sword held in the other, and tried to sweep his feet out from under him.
(OOC: I'm not very good at fighting scenes so please bare with me if I pull a stupid..)

He nimbly leapt backward a bit, avoiding the blow to his ankles and grinning as he did. She was indeed a skilled warrior, but to expect him to just give up his Master like that, well she wasn't all that bright apparently.
"If you think it's that easy, you're dead wrong.".
With that he charged forward again, aiming a simple kick to catch her in the rib cage and open her up for more attacks.

"I never said it would be easy," Sana managed as she got up before she twisted to avoid the kick. His foot managed to hit but the angle made it move on past her chest as she went with the turn, spinning to bring her sword around in a mid range strike.

The sword caught him in the gut and he grunted as he stepped back, narrowing his eyes. This one was indeed more powerful then other people he faced, something was odd about her. Once more he launched his knives at her rapidly, four of them at once.
He then charged forward as if he were going to attack, faking at the last moment to her right and aiming a clothesline for her throat.

Sana dodged two knives and blocked the other two, but that didn't give her enough time to process Zackry's next attack. She did managed to start a backward move but his arm hit her throat with jarring force. She was flung back a bit, landing on her ass in a very undignified fashion, but oddly softly when she tweaked her wind manipulation. Gritting her teeth, Sana quickly scrambled to her feet, grabbing one of the chopsticks from her hair to throw right back at the man. If he wanted to play that game, she certainly wasn't going to back down.
The other stick was grabbed and thrown as her dark purple hair fell free down her back without the support. Her throat hurt but there wasn't time to whine about it. That is, if Sana whined, of course.

Did she really think that throwing things at a master of projectiles was a good manuever? He dodged both of them nimbly and reached into his cloak to pull on a string wrapped around his torso. Then he began backtracking away from the woman, skillfully twirling and weaving the string around his body.
As he did, the knives attached to the string began to glow a crimson color, before he threw the whole string of knives in the air. Then, with a wave of his fingers the string snapped and the knives began flying at random directions, all circling around to come at Sana swiftly, low, high, to her side, from above, everywhere.

Unfortunately for Zachary, he had yet to master his techniques to the same level that Xsell had. For all his arrogance Zachary seemed to forget that Xsell had held the position of the Forgiver’s most favored far longer than he had. Not only had he underestimated this newest opponent, but Zachary had neglected to pay attention to his surroundings. His attack out be executed but before any of the blades could touch Sana, Xsell’s chains appeared, catching the knife points between their links. Turning on Zachary once again, Xsell would show no mercy upon his foe. Luckily for Zachary, the Forgiver wouldn’t allow his newest lieutenant to be completely obliterated before the festivities had even begun. The young troublemaker would disappear in a pool of darkness, leaving Xsell alone with Sana.
The chains slowly wrapped themselves back around his arms falling into place moments before locks of ebon and gold were brushed aside by lithe fingers.
“The wielder of the keyblade,” Xsell mused with an arched brow “ I must say you’re different than I imagined you. Don’t mind him,” he added with a gesture towards the fading pool of darkness “Zachary won’t be troubling you for a while.”
Slowly circling Sana, Xsell chuckled. “Still, it wouldn’t hurt for you to latch onto a few travelling companions. They’ll serve as nice meat shields, at least until you can handle these punks on your own. “

Sana did not appreciate being interrupted. Especially by someone who thought her weak enough to need it. Cold gold eyes settled on Xsell's form as she straightened, sword still held at the ready. She wasn't tired enough to back down just because a few Forgiver pricks decided to have a pissing contest.
"You're mistaken," she said, her voice quiet and icy as her eyes narrowed. She shifted her fingers on the grip of her sword. "I don't wield a keyblade. I don't need one for you fools."
And she certainly didn't have time for this fool. Sana eyed him as he circled her, keeping her body battle ready and loose. If he went after her, he d**n sure wasn't going to catch her by surprise.
"You offering?" she growled out. "Not interested. I don't need any help."

“Sure, cupcake” Xsell scoffed stopping to stand in front of Sana “keep telling yourself that. Personally, I don’t care what you tell yourself to keep fighting, so long as you keep swinging that ‘sword’ and doing your thing.”
With a wave of his hand an army of heartless appeared behind Xsell, their golden eyes glowing brightly from behind their helmets. “Confidence is good; you’ll need that to complete your quest. Before you can take on the big bad, however, you’re gonna have to deal with a loooot of these fellas. If you were me doing it on your own wouldn’t be a problem, but since you’re not you’re gonna need a few meatbags to drag along. “ A smile spread across his youthful face, clearly mocking the young woman.
“Before the path to the Forgiver makes itself clear you’ll have to seal off the other worlds from the heartless…but before you can do that…” Another small gesture and the army of heartless scattered to reveal large bulbous machine.
With a few creaks and clanks it pulled itself together to tower over both Xsell and Sana. Eyes sparking to life the massive Heartless machine fixed it’s eyes on Sana.
“The map to the other world resides within…good luck, cupcake. You’re gonna need it.”

The darkness slowly gave way to light, and Rale found himself alone in an alley. Alone?! That couldn’t be right; he had seen her just before that stuff grabbed him. She was right there, within arms’ reach and then he’d lost her.
"Liara!" he called, hurriedly rushing to his feet. No, this couldn’t be happening. Where was he? What was this place? Where was Liara? Was she even alive? What had done to their home? Why? Why Liara? Why spare him? What was going on!?
There were so many questions and the only way he’d get answers was to explore. Yeah, like millions of adventurers hadn’t died thinking thoughts like that. Every fiber of his being was screaming for him to stay put until he could be sure of where he was…but Liara. He couldn’t just abandon her! Hurrying to the edge of the alley, Rale paused, trying to sum up the courage to take that final step into the opened area.
Luckily, or perhaps unluckily, Rale noticed movement occurring in the open courtyard-like area. A dark clothed man and a serious looking girl seemed to be staring one another down. The man motioned and…those things! Those things that had attacked Hope! They had overrun his home and submerged it in darkness and now they were turning into one really big one! This was bad, this was really bad! Was this girl planning to fight it by herself? Didn’t she realize how big that thing was?! Rale moved forward, but came to an abrupt halt when it dawned on him that he didn’t have a weapon.
It took Rale a moment to form a plan and with a wave to the serious girl he ran back into the alley. “Keep him busy! I’ll be right there!”
