Final Fantasy 9: Annihilation of the wicked Roughly 70 years have passed since Garnet til Alexandros XVII and her band of fighters saved Gaia from the treacherous Genome, Kuja. Thanks to Zidane and the others, the Terran souls managed to survive the destruction of their homeworld and successfully inhabited the remaining Genomes. The Terrans have lived side-by-side with the Gaians peacefully for quite some time now, but the peace is an uneasy one now. With the Terran Souls inhabiting them the Genomes have begun to age and degrade, albeit far slower than normal humans. In the process of updating this information. I'm debating putting all of the info here, but at the same time I'm considering posting information here as it's revealed in the Rp. We'll see :]

Final Fantasy 9 World Info FF9 Heroes and supporting characters Moogles and Mognet Moogles and Mognet were a very large part of FFIX, not only did it provide the player with a great deal of backstory, but it was an excellent way to attain items, plus those cute little bastards served as save points. Now, for a text based rp clearly we have no need of save points, however I thought it might be fun (and humorous) to make use of the Mognet system. In our rp it will serve as a nice place to pick up sidequests and get some tasty items you may not have acquired already. Black Mages These powerhouse bastard need no introduction. For the purposes of our game very few Black Mages have survived. So if you're playing a MANUFACTURED black mage and not a human/other creature mage you're going to stand out. Apparantly you do not HAVE to be a manufactured Black Mage to utilize black magic as there were several Red Mages throughout the story and a few of the villains utilized black magic. I'm making the assumption that ANYONE can learn magic, but your potency of magic may not be as powerful as that of a manufactured Black Mage. Genomes and Terran Souls These soulless vessels are lucky enough to be related to Kuja and Zidane. Luckily for the souls of Terra Zidane and the others managed to save them all. Without a soul a Genome will never age or die, however for the purposes of our RP the terran souls have been deposited with the genomes so if you desire to play a monkey tailed mischief maker feel free to do so, just keep in mind the soul that animates that body is of Terran origin. Burmecians and Dragons These Rat-like humanoids served as the punching bag for Alexandria for most of FF9. Since then they have consolidated their power and are now a force to be reckoned with... Chars You Would have heard of for our plot Princess Jane Raza Alexandros I: The First of her name and the last of her line. Princess Jane is unique in that she is a cross breed of a Genome and a Summoner. She is widely loved by her people, despite the fact that she has no true desire to rule. Although she is in her forties, Jane has never married and with no blood relatives it seems as though the Alexandrian throne will no longer be under an Alexandros. (more to come) Callose- Garland's successor and current protector of the Terran Souls. He has been linked to the production of Black Mages. General Rosaline- Commander of the Alexandrian Army and the greatest swordsman in the land. She and her soldiers are charged with protecting the citizens of Alexandria. Age: 25 Captain Ferdinand Lerach- The Current Captain of the Knights of Pluto. Age:37 Knights of Pluto(9): The only males in the Alexandrian Army, they are charged with the protection of the Royal Family. Regent Cid Fabool X- The current ruler of Lindblum and the son of Eiko Carol. Much like his grandfather he seems to genuinely care for his country. However, many claim that he is an inept ruler and unworthy of his father's name. Technically, Cid possesses the blood of a summoner but being a half-blood it's unknown whether or not he possesses the ability to summon Eidolons. Age: 36
